So, I hope it's something that you would be interested in too, because I'm hoping to make this kind of post into a monthly feature on my blog :) Some of the makeup products I bought over the last month are just repurchases and some are just for fun, I hope you enjoyed watching! :)

Notes from my closet- York Blogger Meet

Caroline from Stars and Butterflies and myself have become good friends after meeting through the blogging community a few months ago and at every coffee meet we always say how nice it would be to meet other local bloggers. So, after a bit of organising we decided that a picnic in the beautiful Museum Gardens, York would be a lovely idea :)

If you can make it please bring a picnic blanket and some food for yourself (if you wish) and get your business cards at the ready! :) We are hoping for glorious sunshine, but as we live in good old Britain if the weather does take a turn for the worse, then Plan B is to venture to VJ's Art Bar

Watch out for twitter updates on the meet under the hashtag #yorkbloggermeet :)

I've had some great adventures over the past 5 and a bit months. In previous 'Notes from my accessory closet' posts I showed you a sneak peek of my Ballet flat and Heels collections. I feel like the next natural step would be Boots... But as we are in Spring now and the weather IS getting nicer! Yay! I thought I would skip Boots and go on to Bags :) I have quite a few bag so to stop this post being really photo heavy I will start with Clutch bags! You can never have too many bags and they are certainly amongst the items with the most longevity in my closet :) I wish I had a clutch in a bright colour! I think I'll have to add one to my lust have list!

Do you own any bags with special details or ones in bright colours?

Capsule Closet- Little Black Dress

As part of my Capsule Closet page/project I am highlighting each item in their very own post :) I started off with my favourite classic closet item... The Trench Coat and have featured Breton stripes last month :) And now it's the turn of the ever so faithful Little Black Dress! My dress is from Monsoon and is quite a recent purchase but it has already earned it's place on my favourites list :) It's classic wrap style is very flattering and I feel the sleeve detailing makes the shape classic, but with a modern twist :)   I'm SO looking forward to styling it in different ways for every occasion :) The possibilities are endless!

Have you found your perfect LBD yet?

My Style- My Bedroom

I have a bit of a LOVE/HATE  relationship with my bedroom at the moment... When I first decorated maybe 3 years ago it was perfect! I bought some beautiful antique furniture and I felt like there was still enough space to grow into. Just recently the 'space to breathe' feeling has definitely gone... As most of you will know I started rebuilding my closet at the start of the year, so it's definitely not that I own too much 'stuff'; it's more that it's starting to look a bit messy, my books don't have a proper place, along with Jewellery and lotions and potions that also need a special little home... so I am feeling restless. I think that my lifestyle has really changed. Back when I first decorated I was working as a dental nurse and time in my bedroom consisted of sleeping, getting dressed, and out the door I went. Whereas, now I work from home the majority of the time, having an uncluttered space to work in will make a huge difference in my productivity :) So! I have decided to either sell or store my antique furniture and start over with 'clever' sleek light reflective furniture and storage. I already have a few ideas but I'm still in the planning stage :)

I am going to make this a little monthly feature to keep you guys that are interested up to date with my room renovation :) It should be fun!

My Closet Lust Haves

Mui mui

I'm going on holiday this month :) and I have a few things left to buy before I go, one very important item being Flip flops! A pair to wear on the beach and by the pool that don't mind getting wet and won't complain about sand! :)

A little update on previous Lust haves:
  • A pair of Black Ballet flats; are harder to find than I thought... Still looking for the perfect pair.
  • A Black clutch Bag; I still haven't found a 'classic' enough clutch, but I don't mind waiting for that perfect purchase. Good things come to those that wait, don't you know :)
What are you lusting after this month?

Love, Rachel

P.s It's also my friend and fellow blogger Sarah's Birthday today! Happy Birthday lovely! :)
